Nikon Coolpix S8100 Review

ImagingResource has posted their review verdict of theNikon Coolpix S8100 and here’s a summary of their review – ‘These reviews like the S8100 and indicated they had a blast using it. When shooting outdoors it captured really good photos with excellent color.Inside it did okay and especially if you use the HDR mode for really tough lighting.

These guys thought the standout feature on this camera is the 10x zoom jammed into such a small body which means as a travel camera its perfect. The reviewer really liked the camera and he particularly liked the backlight HDR. Practically no shutter lag and generally the camera responded well all except for the image stabilization which was not too hot. Video capture was just okay with being able to zoom while shooting video a plus.

Bottom Line: Photo quality is all that matters and with that in mind these guys feel good recommending the S8100 as a worthy contender in the compact long zoom market.’
