Nikon’s new FSB-8 digital camera bracket has been specifically designed to connect the new Nikon Coolpix P300 digital compact camera with the manufacturer’s range of Fieldscopes, spotting scopes and EZ Micro products. By positioning the FSB-8 bracket between the camera and a Nikon scope, P300 owners can use the camera to take close-up shots of birds and wildlife. Bundled with a long cable release, the Nikon FSB-8 bracket will be available from April at an RRP of £119.99.

Nikon UK is pleased to announce the FSB-8 digital camera bracket; specifically designed to connect the new COOLPIX P300 compact digital camera with Nikon’s range of Fieldscopes (including the flagship EDG Fieldscope series), Spotting Scopes and EZ-Micro products.

By positioning the FSB-8 bracket between the COOLPIX P300 and a Nikon scope, users benefit from an extended zoom range similar to that of a super-telephoto lens. Thanks to a combination of the increased reach and the cameras’ incredibly bright lens, birders and wildlife enthusiasts are able to capture stunning images, particularly when shooting at night or in challenging lighting conditions.

The specially crafted NIKKOR lens offers a fast f/1.8 aperture, starts at an ultra-wide 24mm, and employs Nikon’s High Refractive lndex glass to deliver sharp images with high contrast. Combined with a highly sensitive back illuminated CMOS image sensor and full manual controls, this camera offers the creative freedom to capture scenes just as you see them using the scope products.
