DPReview has posted their review and conclusion of thePanasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 and here their summary – ‘These guys thought the GH2 was a capable stills model but they indicate a huge aspect of its appeal is because this thing is an advanced video shooter. In fact, they offer that this thing offers some of the best video specs other than a full on video camera.
More advanced shooters will appreciate the ease of the GH2′s EVF the impressive quality of the 1080 video capture and everyone will like the built in stereo mic. Experts will acknowledge and like the depth of field control that only a large sensor can deliver.
At the end of the day – They really liked the GH2.It has all the specifications of the competition but with an improved auto focus and it is equal to the best DSLRs when it comes to still photos. While it would not be the reviewers number one fast action capture choice they did comment that they wished its JPEG color and tone curve would match the Olympus, however, they indicated this was actually a minor complaint. If you’re talking video then the GH2 actually at this time sets the high mark for other systems to try and hit.’
